conscious-nature being, imprint series 9 ("reverberation," 2019-20)

In a conscious-nature series of traces, called "space," aware-awareness continues to converse with experience.... Interactions begin with space (an "empty" / unconditioned canvas - ie, an empty / unconditioned being), and continue with stepping back (into awareness), noticing what the present scope invites, responding with a next mark, and so on.

In a conscious-nature series, called "meta-consciousness" / "aware-awareness" conscious-presence emerges, or aware-awareness, emerges through heightened sensibilities of the nature of nature as a reflection of the nature of awareness / meta-consciousness.

In a conscious-nature series, called "consciousness," conscious presence works with a heightened awareness of the nature of our emotional experience of color.

In a conscious-nature series, called "universe," conscious presence works with a heightened awareness of the nature of sustainable whole systems.

In a conscious-nature series, called "events," conscious presence works with a heightened awareness of the nature of our experience of motion.

In a conscious-nature series, called "organics," conscious presence works with a heightened awareness of the nature of our experience of, and negotiation with, choices within a complex system of cause and effect.

In a conscious-nature series, called "geometrics," conscious presence becomes more aware of itself within the artmaking experience, and asks about the nature of experience in each of its iterations - as it emerges after each brushstroke as a singular structure or presence.

Simply stated:  This is a series of oil paintings, created in response to seeing the nature of physics reflected in the nature of humanity. These paintings are rendered, metaphorically, through concomitant suggestions of physical forces or forms and human anatomy.

In a conscious-nature series, called "physics," conscious presence begins to emerge during the artmaking experience, after attempts to conceptualize broadly recognized abstractions that would serve as metaphorical equivalents of fundamental concepts of physics.
