We are each a localized aspect of a shared consciousness, resting in presence when we remember the truth of who we are.

The experience of interacting with space, matter, and awareness, during the unpredictable, fantastical present (eg, during artmaking), reveals to the artist the nature of ourselves - our universe.

Deep gratitude, joy, and love spontaneously arise through this experience - this energy the artist naturally releases outwardly, through gestures of light, shadow, hue,...  In combination, these marks become imprints / traces of the presence experienced in these moments.

Like any work of nature, the presence through which each artwork develops inhabits its form. Because the artwork developed through true presence - consciousness - its image becomes a potential view of knowing, itself.
